Nilozyme contains multiple strains of bacteria, which allow for the faster breakdown of organic matter. This trap and drain treatment will liquify and consume complex proteins, cellulose, starches and other organic waste found in grease traps, drain lines, septic tanks and lagoons. Nilozyme is non-toxic, non-pathogenic, noncorrosive and certified salmonella and pseudomonas-free.

DIRECTIONS:

Pour or inject Nilozyme into plumbing, grease traps, and septic tanks to break down and digest solids and eliminate odors. Nilozyme also effectively treats solids and odors in lagoons and garbage chutes.

Nilozyme can withstand high temperatures, bleach, disinfectants, chlorine and many other cleaning chemicals. This product also contains a proprietary odor counteractant for immediate relief of odors.

For best results, use the Pail Top Metering Dispenser (Shown Below). Economical and easy to use, the dispenser reduces labor costs while guaranteeing proper dosage every time! Fits on to 5-gallon pail. Nilozyme contains over 200 billion micro-organisms per gallon.

  • Septic Tanks: Do not dilute the product. For initial treatment of a septic tank, pour or inject 1 quart of Nilozyme for each 500-gallon capacity. Thereafter, add 16 oz. for each 500 gallon capacity once a week.
  • Lagoons: Do not dilute the product. To treat a lagoon, add 5 gallons of Nilozyme per acre surface for initial treatment. Thereafter, use 2 gallons per acre surface once a week.

    • Capacity is not really important but rather how much grease goes into the trap itself and normally the initial treatment of a grease trap may take more product, but I will give an example. There is a national fast food chain restaurant near us with a 1500 gal capacity grease trap. They use 21 oz. of Nilozyme daily to break up and digest the grease in their trap. Nilozyme can work with any capacity grease trap. For large volume restaurants (fast food) we normally recommend 18 oz. daily. This would most likely be around a 1000 gal grease trap. If you have small/medium volume then 8-10 ounces daily should be fine. The general rule is: more volume and more capacity = more product.
