Okay, so this sounds to good too be true. Basically, you will be viewing a selection of items listed in eBay and suddenly you spot "How I Make Money On Your Auctions Without You Knowing!" instant suspicion. You click on the listed item and it all sounds very interesting. Well, it is nad that is exactly why they say it.
So what is this amazing service they are offering? Is it legal, is it worth the 4.99 they are charging, is it the best kept secret in the world today, does it get money out Gordon Brown's back pocket?
No. It isn't a scam by any means but basically it is a rip off. What they are selling is basically, easily accessable and readily available information off the internet about becoming an "affiliate". Too techincal? Basically, this is their money making scheme:
Firstly, you need a website, a good one, one where people actually watch it and visit it regularly. What you basically need is a website that is not just friends and family (community websites) but a more gerneric website with the pull of a main audience that is always changing. One of those "Freewebs or Google pages" simply don't have the pull as they often don't feature enough in search engines and are too long in website address forms for anybody to stumble on. You need a good quality . com etc. as these other free websites simply don't have the necessary pull for sufficient money making capabilities.
Then, you need to become an eBay affiliate by registering and setting up an account. I am unable to paste a link here but just use any search engine with the words "EBAY AFFILIATE" and it will pop straight up. Next after that process is complete you will need to establish links. This mainly involves targeting the most popular and in demand searches on eBay and some custom ones (for example: search for "Apple Iphone" in eBay then click on the menu bar to the left to refine your search by selecting things like, "new condition", "post to UK address", "items located in the EU", "priced between 100 and 400 pounds" etc. and then pasting that linkonto your website and giving it a catchy tiltle "CHEAP IPHONESREADY FOR DESPATCH") for people to be instantlylinked and sent to eBay's appropriately listed auctions. This sounds great but before a light bulbappears over your head, you can't link your or a close family members item to your website. Ebay simply will not allow it and will probably ban you outright.
Then, you get credit, money, rewards or whatever from eBay for anybody who buys an item through your link in the webpage that you setup. GENIUS! WOW! I'M MISSING OUT!
Well, actually, this is in fact, very tricky to do. For popular items such as, Wii's, Iphones, PS3's, HD DVD etc. etc. eBay auctions end very quickly and normally don't last longer than 7-10 days. If your links are for specific items, then this would require regualr updates and never ending refreshing of links as items appear and disappear meaning you have to replace your links frequently. If your links are to searches, these will also have to be adjusted due to the fluctuation in prices as demand rises and falls throughout the year. In this idiots opinion, I would sign up to be an affiliate with the likes of Amazon or similar whose stock and prices are far more predicatble and within which links would last for a more prolonged amount of time. This would eliminate the need for regular intervention in order to keep your links up to date. Plus, I believ that the commision is better too.
So, sorry for pee-ing all over these sellers ideas, but paying a 5er for information that is readily available over the internet for free does get to me. Keep an eye out or add me to your favourite sellers as I will be revealing more truhs over these eBooks very soon.
