Nationwide & Local Courier Delivery (APC Overnight)
Unfortunately, there is a minimum spend of £40 on all orders that require 24 hour courier delivery.
We are able to offer delivery to all addresses in England, Wales and the Scottish mainland from Aberdeen southwards. Delivery costs are extremely high in other areas; therefore, we cannot deliver elsewhere. Currently, we do not offer shipping overseas.
All deliveries are dispatched using our trusted 24 hour courier and require a signature upon receipt.
Courier Delivery Costs
Our delivery charges help to cover the cost of shipping and the cost of packaging (they doesn’t actually cover the full cost). We realise that our delivery costs are high, but as a small, independent business, we do not receive competitive rates from our courier. In addition to this, the insulated packaging we use to keep your products in tip top condition is very expensive.
Nationwide Courier Delivery:

Local Courier Delivery:

Named Day Delivery
Due to the perishable nature of our goods, we use named day delivery. During the checkout process, customers are asked to choose their preferred delivery date from the delivery calendar. The delivery dates displayed in bold font are those that are available. It is the customer’s responsibility to choose the correct date for delivery.
Delivery Days
We are able to deliver via courier on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only.
Delivery Times
Your order will arrive anytime between *8.00am and 5.00pm on the chosen delivery day. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to give you an exact time for delivery.
*This is subject to change during peak periods such as Christmas.
Packaging
Our fresh meat produce is packed to ensure that it stays as fresh as possible on its journey to you.
Once your products have been freshly prepared, they are wrapped and labelled accordingly. Your products are then placed inside an insulated chill-box and covered with ice-gel packs. The chill-box is then sealed securely and labelled with your name and address details.
Our courier then collects your order and will aim to deliver it to you within 24 hours. The ice-gel packs will keep your products safely chilled for 48 hours. Feel free to re-use your ice-gel packs. They are ideal for taking on picnics!
Receipt of Delivery
When you place your order, you will be requested to provide ‘Special Delivery Instructions’ for the courier. This allows us to inform the courier what to do should you be out when your goods arrive.
If you do not provide special delivery instructions, the courier WILL NOT leave the delivery in a safe place. Where special delivery instructions have not provided, the courier will automatically take the delivery back to the depot and it is then the customer’s responsibility to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery.
Delays or loss in transit
All orders should arrive by 5pm on the requested delivery date. Should your order not arrive by this time, please contact us immediately on 01282 617557 or by email; [email protected]. We will look into the delay immediately and inform you of the situation by phone or by email.
Should any order not be delivered within 24 hours of the date given in the order acknowledgement, we will ask the courier to return the goods to our shop and you will receive a full refund upon their return.
Please note: the insulated packaging we use to dispatch all orders is designed to keep our fresh produce cool for a minimum of 48 hours, even during the summer months.
Local Delivery (non-courier)
Local deliveries cover postcode areas: BB8, BB9 & BB10 and are made by the butcher in person.
Our local delivery schedule is as follows:
BB9 Postcodes:
- Delivery day: Fridays.
- Minimum spend for delivery: £20.00
BB8 Postcodes:
- Delivery day: Fridays.
- Minimum spend for delivery: £30.00
BB10 Postcodes:
- Delivery day: Fridays.
- Minimum spend for delivery: £30.00

You can order via the website and collect from our shop Wednesday to Saturday. This service is free.
