The Best House Original
Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2001
I think that the other reviewers that said this CD wasn't that good either like trance and think they like house, or prefer hard, annoying, candy-raver house. This is definetely Bad Boy's best all around CD ever. In the past I felt that he littered his CD's with too many tracks, and mixed in and out of my favorite tracks way too fast. One second you'd be groovin' to some way funky track, and the next your skippin' tracks because the beats just got too ghetto and booty slappin'. Bill proves on this CD that he can still mix quicker than most, and tear it up on 3 tables. But for the first time I feel it can contend with longer smoother mixers like DJ Dan and Angel Alanis. If you are a DJ and you have any of the records on this CD, then you will realize why Bad Boy makes so much more money than you. Every scratch, every beat, and every breakdown, is perfectly timed on this CD. So much so that most people will think the scratches are already on the records. I am so pleased with this track selection, because these tracks define well-structured, funky, and bangin' house. All haters of this CD wake up and realize that Bad Boy Bill is wicked. Oh, and for "A music fan from Pendleton, Indiana United States" who claims that this mix was only done on 2 tables. Any DJ who owns any of these records can tell you that this mix would not be possible to do on only two tables. Bad Boy Bill is famous for his skills on three tables and would never sell him self short by only using two tables on a CD. Also if you notice the way the tracks are listed on the back of the CD, you can actually see that the tracks with an asterick next to them were being played on the third table.

I got a hi powered sound system in my car with a crapload of bass and when i was waiting on my friend to come out the mall... windows up (can still hear treble n bass clear)... playing track #4.... volume on 40... some chick walks past with her family... jumps around and starts dancing backwards to her car to the music... not too many cd's can make ppl off the street wild out
i liked most of the songs but Badb0yBill needs to learn how to change the track and tempo... every single song has the exact same background track and speed... doonch -- shish -- doonch -- shish--- doonch -- shish... thats it.. every track... the cd would've been perfect if each mix had their own different melody to go with it... like dj devito's mixes... after halfway through i get tired of the same beat... but the different vocals saves it from me ever turning it off
im anal as hell when it comes to house music... has to have a certain sound... beats.. songs.. vocals... never heard of this dude but after checking out the samples and getting the CD this came pretty close... now all he has to do is learn how to switch shzt up to keep each track fresh

I'm completely useless when it comes to describing electronic music, mostly because the usual labels don't seem to help point me towards music I like. I guess this is called "house," judging from the other reviews, but what I like about it is that it's simultaneously funky, melodic and HARD. (Bangin' indeed!) I saw this guy at one of Stuff magazine's many great parties at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, and he brought the house down.
Of all the swag I brought home from the conference, this is the one CD I've got on heavy rotation while I work, and I couldn't be more surprised. Listening to a house CD more than twice a week? Me? I'm more likely to listen to Fugazi or Richard Thompson or the Kinks. What can I say -- this CD delivers everything that electronic music promises. It's like listening to punk and disco at the same time. Enough with the typing -- I've got more thrashing to do. (Hope no one's taping me.)
Now if only I could find a CD that replicated what Kruder & Dorfmeister were spinning at their party....

Bad Boy Bill comes at you with a whole new compilation CD. He stays true to his repertoire of Hard House, but also brings in lots of Chicago Style Funky House. After seeing him live multiple times this year, I do have to say that this CD is the best representation of him live. He plays to the crowd what they want, and on this CD he delivers. With such great tracks as Space Invaders, and Ecstasy either clubber or raver can't go wrong with this CD. Bad Boy Bill also lays down his own brand of scratching that can only be closely matched by such legends as Q-bert and DJ Swamp. If your looking for a good party CD, then do yourself a favor and buy Bangin' The Box Vol. 5.

Bad Boy has done it agian with this great new CD. If you want to have your'e own party away from the clubs this one is a must have. This bro keeps the Chi-town flavor alive with this one. Just keep your balls tight for the next one, you just know in some way it's gonna be more dope than this one. Shibby. Also if your'e in the Chicago area ask about Ryan B or the crew with the Chi-tow flavor CPB(Chicago's Perfect Blend). Abercrombie And Fitch Mexican Dude(Edgar) Shibby.

Bad Boy Bill has a real style in disco house music. Though i like his old music as well, but i would have to give it to him with this cd. I like it alot. he has different techniques that not too many dj's use. he knows how to mix scratch to perfection, which is why he has won alot of contests. he puts his skills to work with this cd. there is only 1 downside to this cd, the tracks tent to be a bit short.. but other than that, thats a really good cd.. get this cd, its bangin'.... i give it to BBB for doing a good job with this prettty one...
