Free Summer Meals

HCPSS will run its free summer meal program weekdays June 24-Aug. 2 (with no meal service Thursday, July 4). There are no applications, enrollment or fees, however children must be present to receive meals. Meals will be provided to any HCPSS students, as well as any children aged 18 and under.

Summer Job Fairs

HCPSS will host job fairs from noon-4 p.m., June 24 (at Wilde Lake MS) and July 24 (at Burleigh Manor MS) that will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about and apply for a range of positions within the school system.

Maryland’s Blueprint for the Future

The Blueprint for Maryland’s Future was passed by the Maryland General Assembly in 2021 to transform public education in the state into a world-class education system. HCPSS staff are extensively working to meet these goals in a manner that is programmatically appropriate and fiscally responsible.
