June is Pride Month
Balfour Beatty is proud to join the global celebration of Pride Month as we continue to cultivate a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community. This month, our LGBTQ+ employee affinity group, Building PRIDE, unites under the theme of “Information, Affirmation & Inclusion,” which reflects the group’s mission to foster a workplace culture that allows everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, to show up as their authentic self.

Forsyth County Courthouse Modernized & Expanded
Balfour Beatty and joint venture partner Samet Corporation recently completed the 250,679-square-foot Forsyth County Courthouse, expanding the existing justice center by 50 percent. The modernized building features 18 judicial spaces, including courtrooms and hearing rooms, sized to functionally accommodate judicial staff and the public as needed. The judicial spaces are situated on the first three floors of the building and arrayed in double-loaded corridors to improve wayfinding and public access. The facility also features waiting areas specifically designed to provide open, daylit public spaces that lead into various courtrooms.
