Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Eddie Hoare has been joined by members of the public who inspired the name of Droichead an Dóchais at a formal naming ceremony for the pedestrian and cycle bridge.

Galway City Council invites applications for funding towards Social Inclusion Projects and Programmes in the City.  This Scheme provides financial support for groups and organisations operating in the City, who  promote social inclusion and help to create communities where everyone can participate.  Grants are available to voluntary organisations or those which operate on a not-for-profit basis.

Galway City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) are delighted to announce capital funding of €105,219.39 for 56 projects in Galway City under the Local Enhancement Programme 2024.
