Summit Art encourages artists by providing opportunities for networking, professional development, education, exhibitions, recognition and events.
We aim to inspire and engage our community by advancing an appreciation for the visual arts.
We are SO EXCITED to have been accepted as a participant in the 2024 Parade of Hearts in Kansas City! Our heart, “Vintage KC”, is designed by our Juried Artists, Doug Bennett in collaboration with Sharon Wagner. Look for our heart currently located in Independence, MO, at the Historic Truman Courthouse. This heart represents a vintage view of Kansas City from the 1930s and the late 1950s showing the rich heritage of KC. We hope people will view the heart and remember these localities. This heart is sponsored by the Kansas City Royals.
Proceeds will benefit Summit Art’s mission to support local art and artists.
